She relocated to Wichita upon graduating high school to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Musical Theatre at Wichita State University. After two years of study, Jessica felt God calling her to change her major to elementary education. Now, Jessica works in the Wichita Public School District as a fourth grade teacher. She has been involved with CYT for four years as both a teacher and a stage manager. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her love for Jesus and theatre with the kids of CYT, alongside her husband, Robert.

Robert Thomas

Robert graduated from Wichita State University with a BFA in Theatre Performance. While at WSU, Robert had the opportunity to participate in various productions from both a performance and technical standpoint. Robert is certified in stage combat, including knife and unarmed fighting. He has had the opportunity to teach acting and stage combat classes for CYT, as well as direct productions of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Honk. Robert is grateful for the many opportunities that CYT has provided him to pass on his love for storytelling to the next generation.
